A free, browser-based tool for viewing and saving publicly available Instagram Stories, Highlights, Reels, photos and videos.
StoriesIG runs at storiesinsta.org. You paste a public Instagram username or profile link, choose what you are after — stories, highlights, reels, photos or videos — and the tool loads the media in your browser so you can watch it or save it.
There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. It is a web page, not an app, so it works the same way on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and tablets, in any modern browser with JavaScript enabled.
It is free to use. There is no subscription, no registration and no hidden fee.
How
How It Works
The request you make is sent from your browser to this site, which fetches the publicly available media on its own and returns it to you. Because the request to Instagram is not made from your account, your username does not appear in a story's viewer list — that is what makes the viewing anonymous.
You never enter an Instagram password here. The only thing the tool asks for is a public username or profile link, and that input is used only to carry out the request you just made.
Downloads are saved straight into your device's own storage, so the media stays available offline once it has been saved.

Limits
What StoriesIG Does Not Do
It does not open private accounts. Only content that Instagram already serves publicly can be reached, and there is no setting, trick or paid tier here that changes that.
It does not recover expired stories or content from deleted accounts, and it does not log you in, post on your behalf or touch your Instagram account in any way.
It does not create accounts or ask for personal details, and it does not sell personal data. What information the site does receive — server logs, cookies and what advertising partners see — is set out in full in the privacy policy.
StoriesIG is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
Use It Well
Responsible Use
Content reached through this tool belongs to the people who created it. Viewing or saving something for your own use is one thing; re-posting, editing, monetising or redistributing it without the creator's permission is another, and it is not something this site licenses you to do.
The terms of service set out what acceptable use looks like, and the DMCA page explains how a rights holder can have infringing material removed.
