Terms of Service
These terms apply to everyone who uses storiesinsta.org. Using the site means you accept them.
StoriesIG is a free, browser-based tool that lets you view and save publicly available Instagram Stories, Highlights, Reels, photos, videos and carousel posts without logging in and without installing an app. There is no registration, no subscription and no fee.
By opening storiesinsta.org or submitting a public Instagram username or profile link to it, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site.
These terms may be revised so that they continue to describe the service accurately. The version published on this page is the one in force, and continued use of the site after a revision means you accept it.
Scope
Public Content Only
StoriesIG works with content that Instagram already makes publicly available. It cannot and does not open private accounts, and it offers no way to bypass an account's privacy settings, to log in on your behalf or to recover content that has been deleted or has expired.
If a profile is private, if a story has expired, if an account has been removed or if Instagram declines the request, the tool will simply not return anything. That is the intended behaviour and not a fault to be worked around.
StoriesIG is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc., and all Instagram trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Rules
Acceptable Use
You agree to use StoriesIG lawfully and for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for how you use anything you view or save through the site.
You agree not to use the site to harass, stalk, impersonate or intimidate anyone; to re-publish, sell or otherwise commercially exploit content whose rights you do not hold; to remove or obscure the attribution of a creator; or to do anything that infringes copyright, privacy or publicity rights.
You also agree not to interfere with the service itself: no automated scraping or bulk querying, no attempt to overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or the servers behind it, and no use of the site to distribute malware or unlawful material.
Access may be limited or blocked where it is necessary to protect the service or other visitors from abuse of these rules.
Rights
Intellectual Property
Instagram content remains the property of the account holder or the rights holder who created it. StoriesIG claims no ownership of, and grants you no licence to, any photo, video, story, highlight or reel accessed through the tool.
Downloading someone's content does not give you the right to re-post, edit, monetise or distribute it. Obtaining permission from the rights holder before doing any of those things is your responsibility.
The StoriesIG name, the site design, its written copy, illustrations and code are the property of the site's operator and may not be copied or reused without permission.
If you believe that material accessible through this site infringes your copyright, the DMCA page explains how to send a takedown notice.
Warranty
Availability, Disclaimer and Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. No guarantee is made that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular moment.
Because StoriesIG depends on content that Instagram serves publicly, features may change, break or stop working at any time without notice, and parts of the tool may be unavailable while that happens. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of this site is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including lost data, lost profits, or any action taken by a third party such as Instagram in response to your use of a third-party viewer.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
