This policy explains what information is received when you visit StoriesIG at storiesinsta.org, why it is received and how it is used.
StoriesIG is a free, browser-based tool for viewing and saving publicly available Instagram Stories, Highlights, Reels, photos and videos. There is no account to create, no Instagram login to enter and nothing to install, so the site does not ask you for a name, a password, a phone number or a payment method at any point.
This policy applies to visitors of this website only. It describes information collected online through storiesinsta.org and does not apply to Instagram, to any other website you reach from a link here, or to information collected offline or through channels other than this website.
By using storiesinsta.org you consent to this privacy policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree with any part of it, please stop using the site.
Data
Server Log Files
Like most websites, storiesinsta.org and the hosting infrastructure behind it keep standard server log files. A log entry is created automatically whenever a browser requests a page or a file, and it is a routine part of serving a website on the internet.
A log entry can record your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your internet service provider, the browser type and version, the operating system and device type, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the referring page, and how long the request took. These entries are not linked to any information that identifies you personally.
Log data is used to operate and secure the service: to diagnose errors, to understand which pages are used, to detect abuse or automated scraping, and to keep the site online. It is not used to build an advertising profile of you.
StoriesIG also records anonymous page-performance measurements from your browser — the page path, whether the screen is phone-sized or desktop-sized, and page-loading timings such as how long the largest element took to appear. These measurements contain no personal information and are used only to keep the site fast.
Advertising
Third-Party Advertising Partners
StoriesIG is free to use and may display non-intrusive advertising supplied by third-party advertising networks. Each of these networks has its own privacy policy governing the data it collects, and we do not control the technologies they use.
When an advertisement, a piece of ad-serving JavaScript or a tracking pixel is loaded on a page you visit, that request goes directly from your browser to the advertising network. As with any request your browser makes to another server, the network receives your IP address, and it may also receive your user agent, the page the ad appeared on and similar technical details. Advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons and JavaScript to measure the effectiveness of their campaigns and to personalise the advertising you see.
Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and to other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of the DART cookie and manage the ads-personalisation settings Google applies to you at Google's Advertising and Privacy page. You can also opt out of personalised advertising from many other vendors through the industry opt-out pages those vendors operate.

What StoriesIG Does Not Do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not ask for or store your Instagram password, and we never request the credentials of any account.
An Instagram username or profile link that you type into the viewer is used only to carry out the request you made at the moment you made it. It is not saved to a profile about you, and there is no account history on this site because there are no accounts.
We do not knowingly request sensitive personal information such as financial details, health information or government identifiers, and you should never send such information to us.
Information may be disclosed where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request, or where it is necessary to protect the safety, rights or property of visitors and of the service itself.
COPPA
Children's Information
Protecting children online is an important part of running any website. StoriesIG is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
We encourage parents and guardians to observe and guide their children's online activity, and to talk with them about never providing personal information on any website without permission.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information through this site, please contact us and it will be removed from our records as quickly as we reasonably can.
