StoriesIG respects the intellectual property of others and responds to valid copyright notices sent to [email protected].
StoriesIG does not host Instagram content. It is a browser-based tool that requests media Instagram already serves publicly and passes it to the visitor who asked for it; all such media remains on Instagram's own servers and belongs to the account holder or other rights holder who created it.
Because the content itself sits on Instagram, a takedown at the source is usually the fastest and most complete remedy, and Instagram operates its own copyright reporting process for exactly that purpose.
Even so, if you hold the rights to a work and believe that material reachable through this site infringes your copyright, send a notice to the email address below and it will be reviewed promptly. Where the complaint concerns material published on storiesinsta.org itself, that material will be removed or disabled without unnecessary delay once a valid notice is received.
Notice
What a Takedown Notice Must Include
Put "DMCA Notice" in the subject line and include all of the following, so that the notice can be acted on without a round of follow-up questions.
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorised to act on the owner's behalf; and identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if the notice covers several works.
Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail to locate it — the full URL on storiesinsta.org is the most useful form of this — along with your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that, under penalty of perjury, you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a takedown notice can make the sender liable for damages under Section 512(f) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, so please make sure the claim is one you are entitled to bring.
Counter-Notice
Counter-Notification
If material of yours was removed from this site and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same email address with "DMCA Counter-Notice" in the subject line.
A counter-notification should include your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
It should also include a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court for the address you provide, or — if your address is outside the United States — of any judicial district in which this site may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the party who sent the original notice.

Repeat Infringement and Related Policies
Access to this site may be restricted for anyone who uses it to infringe the rights of others repeatedly, and the terms of service already forbid using the tool to re-publish, sell or otherwise commercially exploit content whose rights you do not hold.
Downloading a work through this site does not transfer any right in it. Obtaining permission from the rights holder before re-posting, editing, monetising or distributing someone else's photos or videos is the responsibility of the person doing it.
